In conjunction with the Centre for the Study of the Viking Age and the Institute for Name-Studies, the Department of Russian and Slavonic Studies is pleased to invite you to a seminar by Dr Fjodor Uspenskij of the Higher School of Economics, Moscow. He will be talking on the important topic of 'Towards the Etymology of the Dnieper Rapids in Constantine Porphyrogenitus' De Administrando Imperio'.
