Despite the French government launching a ban on Yellow Vest protests, over 40,000 French people took to the streets of France at the weekend to protest against the Macron government, even more than the previous weekend. This weekend’s protests were also tainted by the plight of one elderly protester in Nice, who received head injuries after police charged protesters.
