We examine how individuals and communities understand, use, represent and change the spaces and places that they inhabit, and how these spaces and places are dynamic points of interculturality that are constantly mobile and inherently hybrid. For example, impact work on mapping cultural heritage and belonging, facilitating intergenerational memory, developing cultural tourism, fostering environmental awareness, or making other interventions in shaping and sharing places, from the local to the national to the regional, can all yield significant findings and societal outcomes.
