Turing Mobility Funding 2025/26

Undergraduate and postgraduate students have the opportunity to apply to take a study placement and/or a work placement in another country, depending on their degree programme.

Study placements take place at one of our partner universities. Work placements include the opportunity to work as a Language Assistant or undertake paid or unpaid work in another European country.

Students participating in eligible placements can apply for Turing funding, which will be provided by the UK's Turing scheme.

Please note that funding is not guaranteed, priority will be given to students from low income households.

The Turing Mobility Funding application for 2025/26 will open on Tuesday 6th May 2025 and will close on Friday 6th June 2025.

Please be aware that study abroad options may change at any time for a number of reasons, including curriculum developments, changes to arrangements with partner universities, travel restrictions or other circumstances outside of the University’s control. Every effort will be made to update this information as quickly as possible should a change occur. Please note that, in order to be accepted on to a study abroad programme, you have to achieve the relevant academic requirements as set by the University of Nottingham AND meet the selection criteria of both the University of Nottingham and the partner institution (though the partner institution is under no obligation to accept you).
