General funding advice
Hear from our scholarship students
Nadia Afroze
PhD in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
Research Excellence PhD Scholarship
I would not have been able to do my PhD in the UK without this scholarship. It has allowed me to join the Optics and Photonics Research group which covers a wide range of my research interests, such as laser ultrasonics and microscopy.
Peter Smith
PhD in 3D Printing in Space
Rieger High Fliers PhD Scholarship
This scholarship has allowed me to study an area which is rapidly emerging and therefore very difficult to find funded programs for. I believe this scholarship will open doors for me - eventually I would like to work in R&D in the space industry.
Paige Tien
PhD in Building Technology
ESPRC Funded Studentship
The scholarship has helped every aspect of my studies, from aiding PhD fees, to general living maintenance and personal needs; it's enabled me to focus more on my studies as well as to maximise my experience at University.
