More about child development

This resource has provided an overview of the areas that need to be considered when thinking about childhood development. If you would like to go deeper into this subject, a further series of similar resources are available.

Individual resources explore social, emotional, intellectual, language and physical development for each of the age ranges 0-2, 2-5, 5-11, 11-16 and 16-19 years. These resources are supplemented by formative assessment activities and online case studies that allow more complex exploration and reflection of the issues outlined.
