Discovering and understanding under-served communities
Take away message ...
The take home messages of this e-learning include:
- The medically under-served are people, who for various reasons, do not end up receiving the health care they need
- They tend to have poorer access and engagement with health care services and so they are more likely to have poorer health than the rest of the population
- We have a legal duty to promote equal access of the Medicines Use Review Service. This needs to be to all people, not just those who are like you, or who you think are more accepting of the invitation
- By proactively identifying individuals who could most benefit we can ensure under-served communities receive the medicine support they need
