What should I do if an employer contacts me to discuss an AHP Report?
Michael
We haven’t mentioned consent, and actually that’s really important with AHP Reports. You should share information with your patient, and get written consent from a patient if you share any information with anyone other than the referrer, particularly with an employer or HR department, and record in your notes that you have their consent. Here we advise that if you’re going to communicate with employers that you do it by email so that there’s a written record.
