Finding articles
Let us look at how journals are organised.
Each journal is split firstly into volumes. Each volume is then subdivided into issues or parts, depending on how often the journal is published. A reference for a journal article should always include the author of the article, the year of publication and the title of the article, followed by the title of the journal, volume number, issue number and page numbers.
This article has been published in volume 48, issue 2 of the journal entitled "Journal of Advanced Nursing" published in 2004 and you will find the article on pages 195 to 202.
