Hugh Pascall is an award-winning trumpet player and composer from a musical family, born in Nottingham in 1983. He began as a classical pianist and trumpet player, before studying at the Royal Academy of Music, graduating in 2006 with a first class BMus (hons) and LRAM teaching diploma. He was the Academy’s 2005 Scott-Fulbritzer Prize-winner and one of the first Sir Elton John Scholarship holders.
His professional career as a trumpet player and composer has taken him around the world, working with a great variety of artists and productions as a recording and commercial musician. He is an active performer in the UK jazz scene and is currently a member of the David Ferris Septet, John Turville’s E17 Large Ensemble, the Birmingham Jazz Orchestra and the North London Big Band. www.hughpascall.co.uk
Hugh teaches trumpet and cornet to all abilities, from beginners to advanced, age 8 to adults.
He also teaches advanced students wishing to learn jazz theory and improvisation on any instrument, who have already achieved grade 6 and above.

William Mee studied bass trombone at the Royal Academy of Music under Bob Hughes (London Symphony Orchestra).
He holds teaching posts at Nottingham High School, Trent College and the junior department of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire where he teaches trombone and tuba.
His performance experience includes City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, the John Wilson Orchestra, English Pro Musics as well as four years in Germany with the Philharmonie der Nationen.
