Biography of John Drury Boteler Packe-Drury-Lowe (1905-1960)
John was the only son of John A.E. Drury-Lowe, and succeeded his father in 1949. He was educated at Eton and at Christ Church College, Oxford, and served as a Captain in the Scots Guards in the Second World War.
In 1947, following his second marriage, he assumed the additional surname and arms of Packe.

He married 1stly in 1930 Rosemary Margeurite Hope-Vere, dau. of Lt-Col. James Charles Hope-Vere of Craigie Hall, and had:
- Patrick John Boteler Drury-Lowe (1931-1993)
He was divorced in 1933, and married 2ndly in 1936 Penelope Mary, dau. of Sir Edward Hussey-Packe of Prestwold Hall, Loughborough, and had:
- Simon Jasper Packe-Drury-Lowe (1938-2015)
