The University of Nottingham has a tradition of encouraging sport and exercise, and the University collections include many photographs and written records of the achievements of students.
The University also holds family collections and the records of other organisations. Among these historic collections are items relating to the wider history of team sports and individual exercise through the centuries.This exhibition was created in October 2008, and features a small selection from the collections held by Manuscripts and Special Collections at the University of Nottingham.
This exhibition was created in August 2008, and features examples from the tales of Robin Hood in the collections held by Manuscripts and Special Collections at the University of Nottingham. It also highlights resources for the study of the historical Sherwood Forest and its laws.

The exhibition uses the Xerte toolkit developed by the Learning Team at The University of Nottingham.
The navigation options at the top right corner allow you to move forward and back, or to open a table of contents for quick access to a particular page.
Look out for the image toolbar at the top left corner of some images. This allows you to zoom in to see the image in more detail. Once zoomed, use the pointer tool to drag the image around. You can also choose to see a full-screen version of the image.
