Whilst in our care your items will treated with the same high standards we provide to our own collections.

• Digitisation methods are selected to ensure safety of the original material
• Our secure, environmentally controlled storage facilities comply with the PD5454 European standard for archives.
• We are a Repository approved by the National Archives.
• Our digitisation staff are trained and experienced in handling archives and historic objects.
• Our archive conservation team will assess material prior to digitisation when required, and will discuss with you any pre-digitisation work that needs to be done in order to produce the best possible image.
• Conservation staff can also provide advice about any issues relating to long term preservation.
