Biography

Dr. Sanu Jacob obtained her BSc. in Chemistry, Microbiology and Zoology from St. Aloysius College, Mangalore University, India in 2002. She secured her MSc. in Medical Physiology in 2005 from Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), India before being appointed as faculty/lecturer of Medical Physiology in the same Institution. Dr. Jacob worked at KMC, MAHE as an educator in Physiology to students of medicine, dentistry, MD, MSc., allied health sciences, biotechnology, biomedical engineering and nursing, in various capacities for more than 17 years. She completed a Ph.D. under MAHE, India in 2021. Dr. Jacob was appointed as faculty of School of Medicine, University of Nottingham in 2023 and is currently an Assistant Professor in Physiology and Cardiovascular Sciences at the Royal Derby campus.
