Injury, Recovery, and Inflammation Sciences

We are a multi-disciplinary team of staff and students spanning Anaesthesia & Critical Care; Metabolism, Ageing & Physiology (COMAP); Rheumatology; Rehabilitation & Ageing; Sports and Exercise Medicine; and Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery. We also host the Musculoskeletal, Surgery, Inflammation & Recovery NIHR BRC theme and the Building Community Resilience and Enabling Independence theme of the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration for East Midlands.
