My research mainly focuses on international strategy of Chinese multinational companies, digital entrepreneurship, business model innovation, industrial clusters and regional development in China.

I have worked with some of the major international organizations such as UNESCAP and the South Centre on the internationalisation of Chinese multinational companies in the less developed countries in Asia such as Cambodia.
I am a regular commentator on the industrial development in China and international strategy of MNEs in the emerging markets for some of the mainstream media such as China Economic Review Journal (https://chinaeconomicreview.com/), Xinhua News (http://www.news.cn/), CKGSB Knowledge magazine etc.
