My work examines the changing place of China in the international financial system with a particular focus on RMB internationalisation and the role of London within this.
University links: I'm a Senior Fellow with the ESRC think tank UK in a Changing Europe based at KCL. I work with colleagues at Beijing Normal University.

Consultancy and Research: Professor Hall is happy to explore opportunities to undertake consultancy and research work with external organisations.
I have given evidence (both written and oral) to select committees in the House of Lords and the Scottish Parliament. This is something that I would like to continue to develop.
My work has been covered by The Daily Telegraph, the BBC, the Express, the New York Times and Wired magazine amongst others. I have featured in radio documentaries for BBC radio4 which I really enjoy and would like to continue to develop. I have plans currently being developed with Radio 4.
I regular speak to private businesses working in financial services including trade associations and legal firms.
