Activity
Looking at some pressures along the length of a capillary will show how the forces change, as movement progresses. One batch of plasma has more proteins in it, while the other has more fluid.
Place each batch of fluid at its appropriate end, bearing in mind the effect of hydrostatic pressure on the amount of fluid that will be left in the capillary.

Each arrow indicates the direction of the oncotic pressure. The larger arrow indicates stronger oncotic pressure. Add each arrow to its appropriate area of the capillary so as to indicate the oncotic force exerted by the plasma proteins.
