Dr Elisa Martello
Teaching and Research Fellow, School of Medicine, University of Nottingham
Dr Elisa Martello holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine and a PhD in Veterinary Sciences (University of Turin, Italy). She has more than 15 years of experience in the Eco-epidemiology of vector-borne diseases. She has a particular interest and experience in performing systematic reviews on different topics, having worked for the past five years on international projects supported by Universities (i.e. University of Nottingham) and other institutions, including EFSA, WHO and ECDC.
Elisa works for the School of Medicine at the University of Nottingham as a Research and Teaching Fellow, and she is involved in systematic review projects with international impacts.
Elisa also collaborates with the University of Turin (Italy), where she supports research projects on vector-borne disease and pet nutrition. She is also a scientific consultant for Pharma companies, where she contributes to projects for the development of new feed supplements for pets.
Elisa disseminated her work through publishing several scientific articles and participating in national and international conferences.
