CRAL's new eye-tracking system

The Centre for Research in Applied Linguistics (CRAL) has a new eye-tracking system: an Eyelink 1000+ from SR Research. This system consists of a high-spec display computer complete with widescreen monitor, and participants will be seated in front of a chin rest at this terminal to minimise head movement. Their eyes are tracked by a top of the range high-definition camera that sits on the desk in front of them, so it is as unobtrusive as possible allowing a natural reading experience. The team has already started running experiments. Updates on research will be coming soon on our new project webpage.
