Appplications are now invited for the the second AHRC-funded Masterclasses, to be held in Nottingham on 3-6 January 2012, from PhD students and Masters students in the UK or Ireland undertaking research in Old Norse-Icelandic and Viking Studies. Intensive language training will be provided in Norwegian, Icelandic and Swedish (students will choose at least two of the three) and skills training will be offered in Germanic Philology, Name Studies, Runology and Paleography/Editing (students will choose at least two of the four).
Deadline for application is 15 November 2011.
