Registration is now open for the Institute of Medieval Research's annual Postgraduate Conference, 'Reception and Transmission of Viking Age Culture', which will take place at the University of Nottingham on the 5th of July, 2013.
This interdisciplinary one-day symposium brings together postgraduate research on all aspects of the Viking Age. The day explores the exchange, transmission and transformation of cultural concepts within the Viking World, as well as by people who are separated from this era either geographically or chronologically.
The keynote speakers are Dr Heather O'Donoghue (University of Oxford) and Dr John Shafer (University of Nottingham).
