Rebecca Hall (BA English Studies 2007, MA Norse and Viking Studies 2008) has been awarded the 2009 Magnus Magnusson Prize by the Scottish Society for Northern Studies , for her essay on 'The Silver Hoards of Viking Age Scotland'.
The prize was awarded at the Society's Annual General Meeting in November 2009 and will be published in the Society's peer-reviewed journal, Northern Studies.
