Are colours important in exergames for seniors?

In collaboration with the Northern Research Institute and Aristotle University of Thessaloniki we are aiming to identify the most suitable colours to use in physical training games for people over the age of 65.

Together, we are creating an application that will project the various colours used for exergame buttons. Though the Kinect motion recognition device, users will be able to identify the colours that they see better. This study aims to will reveal whether or not the games’ target audience can clearly see all of the colours or specific preferences that exist.

We are working with participants who are over 65 and not colour blind, at different locations across the UK.
