He is also an adviser to the Forensic Science Regulator and a Fellow of the British Academy.

Dr Javier Eskauriatza

Dr Eskauriatza's research focuses on the intersection between criminal and international law.

He has written about post-conflict Colombia and the 'Special Jurisdiction for Peace', the International Criminal Court, crimes against humanity in the context of the US-Mexican 'war on drugs', and the representation of 'narco-crimes' in popular culture.

Dr Chloe Holloway-George

Dr Holloway-George's research on how neurodivergent individuals experience interactions with the police led to the creation of an improved autism training programme and toolkit for custody staff.

She also provided direct autism training for these staff members and offered guidance on making police custody suites more accessible and supportive for people with autism.

Dr Matt Thomason

Dr Thomason's research, like Professor Roberts', concerns criminal evidence and procedure, but with a greater focus on linking theory to the practical reality of trial practice in modern England and Wales.

His work has been cited by the Law Commission in their 'Evidence in Sex Offence Prosecutions' project.
