University of Nottingham Sport is delighted to welcome Touch Rugby as the latest addition to our group of wide ranging sports clubs. Touch Rugby is an inclusive, mixed gender sport which enables everyone to play at whatever level they like. In universities, this can range from more socially within intramural activity or more seriously as part of the BUCS programme.

Nottingham to host England Hockey Festival as UoN scholars receive international call-up

University of Nottingham Sport is delighted to see scholars Katie Curtis and Conor Williamson have been called up to the England Women's and Men's senior squads respectively for the upcoming 100th Anniversary Spanish Hockey Federation International Tournament starting from 25th July. Further embedding the University of Nottingham's reputation as a leading Hockey programme, University of Nottingham Sport and Nottingham Hockey Centre is set to play host to the England Hockey Talent Academy Festival, presented by Sunbelt Rentals UK and Ireland over three days from Saturday 29th to Monday 31st July.

World Under-24 Ultimate Championships is a huge success at the University of Nottingham

University of Nottingham's Highfields Sports Complex and David Ross Sports Village on University Park Campus recently played host to a hugely successful world championships. Teams from all over the globe converged on Nottingham to compete in the World Under-24 Ultimate Championships, with more than 1,000 athletes from 22 countries and 400 team officials attending the tournament.

The University of Nottingham had strong representation at one of the most prestigious rowing events in the calendar - Henley Royal Regatta. Taking place at Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, the #GreenandGold of University of Nottingham Boat Club had numerous entries amongst the 732 that were entered at the tournament across six days of action.

From the 2nd July through to the 8th July, the University of Nottingham is proud to be hosting the World Flying Disc Federation World Under-24 World Championships at our Highfields Sports Complex. This will see the highest level of ultimate play that is accessible for those of university age and we are delighted to be hosting the prestigious tournament with UK Ultimate.
