Get involved

The Students' Union (SU) is here to make sure you get everything you want out of your time at university – whether that means getting involved in societies, volunteering, campaigning for change or making use of our help and support services.

Our SU offers something for everyone, with:

• more than 200 societies
• over 70 sports clubs with everything from dodgeball to croquet
• over 100 volunteering projects
• a diverse range of student-run groups and networks including University Radio Nottingham (URN), Nottingham New Theatre and Impact Magazine
• access to the Advice team for support with financial, academic, or housing issues

Our SU also has a full time Postgraduate Officer who represents students at central University Committees by using feedback provided by postgraduate representatives on each program.
