Case studies
In September 2018, we introduced the Latte Levy, adding a charge of 20p to every hot drink that is purchased in a disposable hot drinks cup from University outlets. In the same token, customers who present their own reusable cups when purchasing a hot drink are offered a 20p discount, making an overall potential saving of 40p.
Since then, we’ve generated more than £60,000 from the levy, money which we’ve used to set up the WasteNott Fund - re-investing in innovative and exciting sustainability-based case studies.
