As part of our popular Employer Engagement Day, Programme Director, Dr Elizabeth Bishop will be hosting an information session providing the opportunity to find out more about our pioneering apprenticeship programme. Areas covered will include:
- Programme content and structure
- How to factor off-the-job learning into the working week
- Work-based projects
- On-programme support
- The apprenticeship community
- Q&A session with the Programme Director and Employer Engagement Team
Held as part of our wider Employer Engagement Day, there’s also the chance to join our informal networking lunch where you can meet our current partner employers and discuss their experiences on programme. There will also be the opportunity to participate in workshops designed to support employers on their apprenticeship journey.
Please note the information session is an hour long, if you would like to take part in additional sessions, you can sign up via the registration form.
Who is the session for?
The session is designed for employers who considering accessing our Electro-mechanical Engineer Degree Apprenticeship. It is also a good opportunity for Apprentice Leads, Line Managers, Mentors and other staff new to supporting apprentices currently on-programme who would benefit from an overview of the apprenticeship.
Potential apprentices who are currently employed in a job role that will allow them to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours of an Electro-mechanical Engineer are also welcome to attend with their employer.
Please note this event is not suitable for potential apprentices who do not have an employer's support to access the programme.
