Creative and digital sectors
Arts and Humanities academics work in partnership with a wide range of public, private and third sector organisations to enable them to innovate making use of new research relating to creative industries and new digital technologies.
This is an emerging area of interdisciplinary research with new modes of knowledge exchange under development. Digital Nottingham will create a structure for Nottingham-focused external community and business engagement.
Existing strands of activity
Specialist knowledge of the organisational structures, co-location and related variety and labour cultures within different sectors of the creative economy, and support for policy development and business adaptation.

Innovation in creative practice to enable artists and performers to innovate, reach new audiences and diversify their income (providing financial resilience).
