Access to the DNP MAS NMR facility of Nottingham
If you wish to apply for time for a free pilot study please fill out the application form which can be downloaded below. Return the completed application form to walter.kockenberger@nottingham.ac.uk
Application form for free pilot studies
If you are applying for a RCUK (or other) grant and intend to include funding to access the Facility, please contact walter.kockenberger@nottingham.ac.uk to discuss the feasibility of your project and to obtain a letter of support.
If you already have funding for DNP access we still need to collect details of your project, samples and planned experiments, so please fill out the form below when you require time.
Project details for paid usage
Please note that the publications resulting from pilot studies should acknowledge the funding from EPSRC and the University of Nottingham for the apparatus as follows: "The DNP MAS NMR experiments were performed at the Nottingham DNP MAS NMR Facility which is funded by the University of Nottingham and EPSRC (EP/L022524/1) and EP/R042853/1."
Feedback Form and Report Guidelines
Please give your esteemed feedback using the feedback page.
If you have accessed the facility using the 'pilot study' scheme, you are required to send a brief report based on the guidelines as given in the document linked here.
If you have accessed the facility using the 'paid usage' scheme, then please send a brief report at the end of your project.
The UK 850 MHz Solid-State NMR facility at Warwick provides access for solid-state NMR experiments. The management and the time allocation procedure of the 850 MHz facility are independent and the call for application can be found here.
