MA Education
For me the best part of the course is the ability to tailor-make each and every module around your own interests. My undergraduate degree is in conflict resolution and peace. When I look at education, what becomes more relevant to me is peace education or education that helps to promote peaceful living and social cohesion. For all my modules, I was able to tailor-make my assessments (6,000 words academic assignment) with reference to components of peace education. The ability to tailor the degree as per your interests is really helpful to ensure you can keep up with your own passions which will ensure the natural presence of commitment.

MA Special and Inclusive Education
This area of education is very interesting and necessary if we are to implement more inclusive practices around the world. It will make you feel more passionate about advocating for the needs of anyone with a disability and more prepared on what you can do to help.
Support at Nottingham encompassed an excellent interactive syllabus as in every unit a couple of relevant activities were integrated. This included the forum where discussions were held with the student cohort and tutors. The learning materials were interesting and elicited further reflection and research.

One aspect that truly stands out as the best part of this course is the opportunity to engage in small group discussions. These intimate group settings provide students with a platform to share ideas, engage in meaningful discussions, and draw inspiration from one another. The best part of my course were my tutors, the core materials for each module and being able to learn from a wide variety of peers who expressed their opinion from vastly different contexts. Even though my MA was taken online, I felt extremely close to my peers and my tutors. Communication was excellent with my tutors and I was humbled by their approachability and willingness to help when needed or required.

MA Trauma Informed Practice
The course has opened new avenues of practice and presents the potential for further research in areas of professional interest. Gaining an understanding of what it means to be trauma informed enables me to advise in areas within the psychotherapeutic field and far beyond, raising awareness across a broad scope of professional and public services where advise may be sought. I highly recommend the course for both continued professional and personal development
