Impact and engagement

Research impact

Impact is strongly embedded within our research and postgraduate development culture, and is achieved through:

  • public engagement using broadcast, print and digital media;
  • public collaborative participation in research and knowledge exchange;
  • consultancies and collaborative partnerships across the heritage and culture industries, the public sector, and with national and international policy-makers.

Our research staff and postgraduate students regularly interact with the wider public by giving lectures, talks, and workshops and taking part in public festivals like Being Human and Wonder. You can find out more about these activities by visiting our research centre websites or staff/student research profiles. More information about our research impact, and the mechanisms through which we achieve it, can be found by clicking the links below.
