From first ideas through to commercialisation and industry partnerships, Research & Innovation provides guidance and expert advice to support the delivery of the University’s research and knowledge exchange strategies, and achievement of its RKE ambitions. 

We manage the research and knowledge exchange (RKE) portfolio (approximately £900 million in active research, training and KE grants) in collaboration with the academic community, and deliver against institutional and external key performance indicators in order to ensure the university’s compliance with major funders and government agencies.

University of Nottingham opens Zero Carbon Innovation Centre

Description
The University of Nottingham, in partnership with East Midlands Freeport, Research England and Loughborough University, has opened the Zero Carbon Innovation Centre (ZCIC). The centre will deliver innovation in transport technology, green hydrogen production, and power solutions for industry and create jobs for the regional economy.
