Knowledge exchange funding

Nottingham Impact Accelerator

You can access a number of Internal funding streams to support translation of research outputs and the exchange of knowledge between the university and the wider economy.  

Support mechanisms include secondments to industry and proof of concept funding to further develop new ideas arising from research carried out at the institution. Awards range from travel grants of up to £3,000 to translational research awards up to £100,000. 

The different funding streams include:

• BBSRC IAA - Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Impact Accelerator Account
• beLAB 1407 – Drug Discovery
• EPSRC IAA - Engineering and Physical Sciences Impact Accelerator Account
• ESRA IAA – Economic and Social Impact Accelerator Account
• HERMES – Fellowships, prime pumping for KE activities across all disciplines
• ICURe - Innovation to commercialisation of University Research
• MRC IAA – Medical Research Council Impact Accelerator Account
• Science and Technology Facilities Council Impact Accelerator Account
