What is the closing time for entries?
Entries will be accepted up until midnight Thursday 5 July 2018 (UK time). Entries received after this deadline will not be put forward for review by the judging panel.
When and where will the results be announced?
The results will be announced at a dinner at the East Midlands Conference Centre on the evening of Thursday 22 November 2018. Shortlisted entrants will be announced in September and will be invited to attend the awards dinner.
Can I apply for more than one award category?
Yes, you can apply for the Knowledge Exchange and Impact Award for your faculty,as well as the Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Knowledge Exchange and the Media and Policy impact awards if you wish.
If I entered the Knowledge Exchange and Innovation Awards 2014 and / or 2016, can I enter the Knowledge Exchange and Impact Awards 2018?
Yes, you can enter the Knowledge Exchange and Impact Awards even if you entered the 2014 and / or 2016 awards. However, you will need to complete the online form for this year’s awards.
Are UNNC and UNMC eligible to apply for the UK awards?
Applicants from UNNC and UNMC are eligible to enter all categories.
If I am based at UNNC / UNMC and I am shortlisted, are their funds available for me to attend the awards in the UK?
There are no funds available from the UK to pay for travel to attend the awards.
Does the project I am entering need to be complete and acknowledged by external bodies?
An entry can be submitted based on potential and/or current evidenced success. However, applicants will need to put forward a strong case to demonstrate a projects potential. Please refer to the judging criteria for further information.
