The School of Geography's Collaborative Research Hubs comprise academics and researchers in the school who are engaged in world-leading interdisciplinary research that seeks to answer some of the most pressing issues faced by societies across the globe now and in the future.
There are three Hubs:
Understanding the social and physical processes that drive and contribute to urban culture and environments.

Assessing the links and risks that exist between the environment and human and natural systems.
Applying analytical approaches to explore spatio-temporal patterns in human health and its drivers.
The Hubs provide an important connection between the school and university research environments by mapping onto the university's Global Research Themes (GRTs), Interdisciplinary Research Clusters (IRCs) and Beacons of Excellence:
