There's still university work, but you get the chance to try things you'd never try otherwise. I can't recommend studying abroad enough, you get to experience the world and massively grow as a person - so many people have told me I'm way more confident since coming back!
Study abroad opportunities are dependent upon satisfactory performance and subject to availability. For the latest information, visit our study abroad pages.
Please be aware that study abroad, compulsory year abroad, optional placements/internships and integrated year in industry opportunities may change at any time for a number of reasons, including curriculum developments, changes to arrangements with partner universities or placement/industry hosts, travel restrictions or other circumstances outside of the university's control.
