Moving and Handling in Emergency Situations
Lowering the bed
If
emergency care is required, flatten the bed, either electronically or manually.
If the patient is on a pressure relieving mattress, follow the manufacturer’s
instructions. Effective resuscitation requires a hard surface beneath the
patient.
