In order to complete this, beforehand, the Bramley apple seed was coated in platinum. The pattern was milled into the seed using the Zeiss Crossbeam 550 (High Resolution Cryogenic Analytical and Transfer Scanning Electron Microsope, HR-CAT-SEM) which took around an hour to complete. Images were acquired on the SEM and a Leica M205A Light Microscope.
