As part of the Country Lives: Exploring the English Countryside from 1800 exhibition, Lakeside Arts is hosting a special talk with David Matless, Professor of Cultural Geography at the University of Nottingham.David will explore the depiction of the English countryside in the 20th century, revealing how representations of rural landscapes reflect deeper cultural and political themes about England as a nation.
