The first workshop was held at the University of Nottingham on Saturday 24th November 2012. It was organized jointly with the School of Education, University of Nottingham. The title of the workshop was ‘Using History to Understand and Communicate Difficult Topics’.
The audience comprised teachers, PGCE students and educationalists from the East Midlands region.
There were five sessions, each comprising a brief presentation or set of talks, followed by extended, lively discussion in groups.
