Andy Williams graduated in 1983 with an honours degree in Metallurgy and Materials Science from University College Cardiff. He is now the Technical Director of Chromalloy Gas Turbine Corporation, as well as a main board director of the European Turbine Network. Andy has authored more than 20 papers and a chapter in a gas turbine (GT) book on component repair and is a Mentor for the IMechE and IOM3. He is recognised as a major figure in the Coatings and Repair industry, and will present repair and coating technology and its application on gas turbine components.
