MERLN celebrates 10th anniversary: Prof. Alexander invited to speak

MERLN logo

Prof. Morgan Alexander has been invited to give a plenary talk at the upcoming MERLN 10 year anniversary symposium, which will take place on 17-18 October 2024 at Maastricht University, the Netherlands. Morgan has been invited to present his high-level research on biomedical surfaces using advanced (mass spec) imaging techniques to characterize and discover new biomaterials.

The MERLN Institute for Technology-Inspired Regenerative Medicine focus area is regenerative medicine, which encompasses a variety of therapeutic strategies that aim to augment, repair, replace or regenerate biological tissues. This emerging field involves various disciplines such as biomaterials, cell therapy, and tissue engineering. MERLN’s activities operate at the interface of biology, engineering and medicine to maximise impact at the level of public involvement and the commercialisation of research.

This year, MERLN will celebrate its 10th anniversary. For this special occasion, they are organizing an international conference that will include talks, a poster exhibition, and workshops, with a target audience of up to 250 people. For more information and to register, please refer to official MERLN 10 years symposium leaflet.
