Boobie Ball 2024

The Boobie Ball is a bi-annual fundraising gala founded by Lisa Johnson, a courageous breast cancer survivor. This inspiring event serves a dual purpose: to shine a spotlight on breast cancer awareness in Nottingham and to generate critical financial support for cancer research. Through this elegant and meaningful celebration, the ball brings together community members, survivors, healthcare professionals, and supporters and includes a three course meal, raffles and live music. The next Boobie Ball will be hosted in 2026.

Since 2016, our successful fundraising event has gone from strength to strength, making an ever-increasing impact:

2016: Our inaugural Boobie Ball raised £4,201, launching what would become a cherished tradition.

2018: Boobie Ball returned with tremendous growth, raising £17,000 - quadrupling our first event's success.

2022: The momentum continued with our third event raising an impressive £22,000.

2024: Our most successful event yet! Boobie Ball 4 brought in £28,000, bringing our total fundraising to over £71,000.

Thanks to our dedicated patient supporter team Lisa Johnson, Alexandra Perry, Sally Stretton, Rachael Homewood and Claire Jennings, each Boobie Ball has surpassed the last, helping us make an ever-greater difference in our breast cancer research.
