Library updates

Djanogly LRC 24/7 computer room temporary closure

Description
We are upgrading the emergency lighting in the building between 11 - 17 April, this will mean partial closure of the 24/7 computer room on the top floor during certain times of the day.

Libraries over Easter Break

Description
Libraries will be in vacation opening hours for the Easter break from Friday 28 March - Monday 28 April. Over the Easter Weekend from Friday 18 - Monday 21 April, George Green Library, Djanogly LRC and James Cameron-Gifford Library will be open in standard opening hours, all other libraries will be closed.

Opening times

Last entry to the library is 15 minutes before the advertised library closing time. Library closing procedures are announced by tannoy.

  • You will need your University Card to borrow books, print and for access after 10pm (during extended hours). What if I forget my card?
  • Visitor access is permitted during help desk hours only.
  • Hot food should be eaten in the designated hot food area.
  • Please don't leave your belongings unattended, keep them with you at all times.
  • Smoking and vaping is prohibited in all university buildings, including libraries.
  • University policy prohibits bicycles and scooters being brought into all buildings, including libraries.
  • We ask all users to follow the Code of Practice for use of library facilities and services (PDF)
