Professor Claire Anderson elected President of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society

We are delighted to congratulate Claire on this fantastic achievement which recognises her international leadership in Pharmacy education and practice.

Claire has held many high level positions in the global Pharmacy community including Chair of the RPS English Pharmacy Board and as a member of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) Board of Pharmacy Practice and their Council. This is an important time for Pharmacy education in the UK as we move towards new MPharm courses designed to meet the new education standards from the General Pharmaceutical Councils and also the new Foundation training programme that replaces the traditional post graduation Pre-registration training, so it is great to see Claire leading the RPS in its support of this important and exciting period for the profession and our students.
