Civil Engineering Taster Day 2020

Students are invited to a Civil Engineering event looking at truss design and testing. The students will study some truss design theory, undertaking a truss calculation example before putting their practical skills into play, building and testing a truss to destruction with materials provided.

The day will also involve the chance to talk to academics about engineering with tours and demonstrations in the laboratories.
