Description: Engineering Christmas Lecture, Wednesday 20 December 2017

This year's annual Christmas lecture will be presented by Professor Ed Lester and entitled "Solids, Liquids and Gases and why the future is Nano".

Professor Ed Lester is a highly engaging lecturer with a repertoire of explosive demonstrations! Prior to the lecture there are fun and interactive activities and the change to find out more about applying to university and the courses available. Places are limited to 50 pupils per school and free coach parking is available on campus.

Schools will be allocated a time slot for lunch and to tour the activities before being escorted to the lecture theatre.

Aimed at Years 8 to 11 with an interest in science and engineering.
