8. Using the IROC checklist

Now you try to use the IROC checklist to calculate this baby's risk of becoming an overweight child.

  • Baby boy B had a birth weight of 3.1kgs (30th percentile) and was bottle fed from birth
  • His mother’s pre-pregnancy BMI was 32 and she smoked during pregnancy
